In the nature of all living forms there are some problems
that must be resolved with success in order to survive, like
getting more sunlight for the leafs, or be faster capturing
preys. The Evolutionary Computation (EC) makes an interpretation
of Nature as a huge machine for solving problems and tries
to find the key factor to use it with different purposes.
the last years there has been a lot of important developments
in the EC field, solving brilliantly different types of complex
problems. Also there has been remarkable advances in theoretical
aspects translated to the creation of new methods and algorithms
that constitute the paradigm of EC.
there are a lot of problems whose resolution depends on the
people knowledge. The translation of that human knowledge
in an specific evaluation fitness that allow running the EC
algorithm is not an easy task, in fact, it might be one function
per person. Thus, for this type of problems it is necessary
to appeal to the Interactive Evolutionary Computation (IEC),
a branch of EC.
